Can you add a few drops of black to midnight blue hair dye to make blue black dye?

I love dying my hair black.I like having black hair. I have been trying out the different shades of black.
I saw midnight blue hair dye and its a really dark blue.Can you add a few drops of black to make blue black dye that stands out?Is this possible?

The hair dye box usually warns you not to mix different dyes.
Ever notice that when you dye your hair black the solution is blue after it’s on you for awhile. If you want it black but still with an undertone of blue leave the hair dye in a bit longer than what the box says. I actually did this on accident but hey it’s the result you want so I can say that it works. So next time you dye your hair with black just leave it in like10 min longer than what the box says. Try Midnight Black hair dye for best results.
