Blank Screen on a mac book pro laptop?
This morning my mum tried to open her mac book pro. The actual computer starts but the screen is dead blank. I have tried holding power and R and tried a reboot but neither has worked. Any ideas?
It it helps anyone the laptop is currently in charge
It doesn’t have any abnormal software, its mainly used for ebay, facebook and photoshop
We have tried forcing hard shut downs, Taking out the battery, unplugging it from the wall.
We did something and know turning it on we get the start up sound, suggesting the computer was stuck on a sleep for some reason yet we still have no screen.
The laptop was never dropped or left on sleep overnight
On the keyboard – top left hand side have you got an ‘Esc key’ – if so press it. Its locked itself in sleep mode.
Failing that press ‘Ctrl-Alt-Del together too try and unlock it.
